Community Fund Raising

Community Service and Raising Funds is at the heart of what Keswick Rotary club do.

President Colin and

Keswick Rotary’s Community Services provides a range of support to individuals and organisations in Keswick and the surrounding areas . In addition to raising funds to help out local charities and organisations we give our time to support other local initiatives .

Fund Raising
Our recent major fundraising appeal; Calvert Bear's 5 Peak Challenge has raised over £33,000 towards Calvert Lakes £1m Bounce Back Appeal, helping to secure their long term future in the wake of Covid-19. Our main regular fund raising comes from the 2 wishing wells we have in Keswick. In addition we organise a Tree of Light appeal in December each year . We also raise funds with street collections in Keswick and specific days in Booth’s Supermarket in Keswick. In December 2019 we organised an evening of excellent food that was prepared by refugees supported by the Global Village Cafe Charity .
